Other Events

There have been many notable screenings of the film at festivals and events around the world, including the first double-feature public screening of Mil Mascaras vs. the Aztec Mummy and Academy of Doom at RioFan in Rio de Janeiro in April 2008, its European premiere at Estepona, the European double-feature premiere at Sitges, and of course the US screenings at Fangoria events (thanks to the wonderful support and encouragement from Tony Timpone).

TCM The Lyric


At nearly every event audience members expressed interest in the University of Missouri's role in the production of the film and its sequels. One thing is certain: there will be more films produced at Mizzou and more memorable events.
